Haunted

Haunted

A Poem by Miss Mary Jane

3:00 A.M. flashing across my face.

Dark circles cut into porcelain skin.

Losing myself, over and over again.

Haven't slept in days.

I am dazed and confused,

Abusing myself because there is no

one to stop me now.

Cursing the man that finally left me.

Haunted by the ghosts, that

I kept all to myself.

Haunted by the memories,

that I never had.

I'm hitting the top,

just so I can fall back down.

I'm going to drop,

but it's all right.

Out here in the stand still,

in the middle of the desert,

where I am alone.

With my demons,

and my ghosts....

I think you captured it well. It was full of emotion and I could feel each line as I read it. Very good work! =)
