Timid Child

Timid Child

A Poem by Miss Mary Jane

He stands on the edge of my mind,

Like a figure in the distance.

Someone I lost with in meter and rhyme.

Close and unwanted causing the creation

of a Timid Child.

I'm certain now that neither of us were right,

both being wrong, both never relenting.

Yet the wheels of our demise kept spinning.

Leaving me fitful, paranoid, and a

Timid Child.

Now I'm afraid to speak out of turn.

Afraid that I'm not enough for the next

Man to come into my life.

Afraid of losing another fight against

the keeper of cruel fates.

Creating, and intimidating this Timid Child.

My name is Mary Jane, I'm just another character brought on to you by the gods. I believe in mystical adventures to heighten the passion of life. I like to go out into nature and worship pagan deities.. more..
