City Poetry: Dazed and Confused

City Poetry: Dazed and Confused

A Poem by Miss Mary Jane

Shadows fall upon my face.
As I watch them dance in a daze.
A couple hits of lsd, and a fourth
of shrooms, a joint in hand.
Hippy tripping.

Walking down the strip.
The sunlight glittering down.
Hitting the clubs at night.
My dreams shining like a star.

My hair is a halo of fire,
My eyes are emerald jewels.
The music infects my with
An impossible need to
Dance.

Walking down the strip.
Cigarette in hand.
Laughing at the neon lights,
The people that are small
and then large.

To then evaporate from
This scene all together,
As if in a dream.
To be standing on a highway.
With Him beckoning onward.

My name is Mary Jane, I'm just another character brought on to you by the gods. I believe in mystical adventures to heighten the passion of life. I like to go out into nature and worship pagan deities.. more..
