The End

The End

A Poem by Misled Legend
"

One book ends and another begins...

"

On the bed she laid

Sweating as she made the effort

To give the world

A new life

Her firstborn looked up at her

With curious blue eyes

As his father paced

Outside the room

She knew that this minute

Would be her last

So with one final push

A loud wail echoed

It's a boy they said

With genuine cheer

Though it died when

They saw her smiling sadly

The baby was not even

A few hours old

But already he was

An outcast

In the Middle of April

One story ended

And Another Began

This certainly piques curiosity. Leaves me wanting more, wanting to know what will follow. Well written!

Very sad >.<
The imagery is very tear-jerking but it's very clever.

Very sad ending. Dramatic, however, and well written

I've always hated these things since I can never think of what to say. I guess I should begin like this... My name is Samantha (Sam) and I'm bipolar. Oh yeah! That'll get me many friends. I'm 2.. more..
