Not Named

Not Named

A Poem by Misfits Girl

Trashed up room
And slashed up wrists
Angry words
And mashed up fists

Angry outburst
Unfit rage
Break it down
Fight free of the cage

Lost control
Running wild
Cant get calm
Help speed dialled

Worlds colliding
Hatred flowing
Clear call screaming
Sanity far from going

Slipping again
Feeling for the floor
Need to get grounded
Can’t take this no more

Trying to calm
Trying to see
And help them understand
This isn’t me

I was just set off
Waiting to blow
Feeling it creeping up
Trying not to let you know

I can’t let you think its your fault
It never has been
I’m calming down again now
Now that you know, now that you’ve seen

Forget all you saw
Forget how I just fell
Forget what you heard
Please don’t tell

A disturbing picture of suppressed inner rage and the fear that one may not be able to contain it. Very nice in it's terrifying glory.
