Raindrops

Raindrops

A Poem by Misfits Girl

Cut to the patter of the rain
Bleed like puddles on the roads
Hide and seek with the pain
Till this putrid shell explodes

Button my lips
Seal the soul
Watch the blood from my hips
As this swallows me whole

I can’t seam to cope
It won’t let me be
I’m staring at the rope
But I know that’s just not me

I utter your name
I hide myself away
Gazing into the flame
Keep my thoughts at bay

My will is broken
The need has taken me
I’m becoming out spoken
I can’t let you see

So I’ll cut to the rain
Bleed till I’m dry
Forget to explain
Slow slip to die

rain is a beautiful thing, and is a nice methaphore to use (so are the others, I noticed you use a lot of methaphores in your writings)
it's such a sad poem.. well written though.
