A Poem by Misery
"

hmm this one was a failure too

"
I'm trapped inside a call
Waiting for my turn
To talk to an operator
That knows me all too well
How may I help you
She might ask
When we both know she can't
And that could be the end of that
But I'm on the waiting list
To hear an expansion to our past
My turn's coming up
When the battery dries
I think I might want to die
After her answering machine tries
To record a few lines
That couldn't express

I read all of your poems. Full of longing. Very emotive.
