A Poem by MiseryOfTheMaiden
"

I Never Had a Choice.

"

I never had a choice.

Sinking hearts beating to the sound of teenage angst

I never had a choice

Approved smiles and the familar warmth of the limelight

I never had a choice

My insecuritys, my inexperience

I never had a choice

Do i feel anything when i kiss you, my Dear? No.

I never had a choice

It was you who chose me as you walk this road of self destruction

I never had a choice

Yet i will walk it with you, hearts seperated, feelings cooler than you'd want

I have a choice.

The last line of your poem certainly has a great impact.
You expressed yourself well, and I like your choice of vocabulary.
Great job!

Where do i begin? I'm a complicated rollercoaster, nightmare of emotions. I exude drama and tantrums wherever i go...people put it down to me being a teenager but...i'm not sure, i feel i've always be.. more..
