Dear Seraph,

Dear Seraph,

A Poem by Mirrl
"

A symbolic lament.

"
Seraph, oh Seraph,

Who clipped your wings?
Who bound you with rope and string?
Who cut your tongue so you cannot sing?

Oh sweet Seraph, don't you yearn to be free?

Your binds are strung with the strings of your
Fear.
Your wings are clipped with your
Pride.
Your tongue is cut by your
Passions.

Oh sweet Seraph, why let it bide?

Please Seraph, tear off your binds!
Please Seraph, let your wings free!
Please Seraph, open your mouth and let it sing!

Oh sweet Seraph, what, oh what, has become of thee?

Seraph, oh Seraph,

You
 clipped your wings.
