An Emptiness like HomeA Poem by MiriamMBJust a poem written on impulse about isolation and loneliness and learning to love and accept being alone.it's all for me, you see no need for an audience I've never been afraid of the
dark or long silences I can't start now I know the sound of one's own
voice reverberating backwards like the sound of a slap in an
empty room I've learned to know the itch
of an ill fitting body Fallen into the ache of a life
tied too tightly around me I've learned to carry my own
burdens to slowly crack and heal when I can So you see, this is all for me I can exist fully I don't need to be seen to be. © 2013 MiriamMBReviews
