A Poem by MiriamMB

Do not say my name too often,

Do not wear my name on your tongue,

because it will stay there,

and you will never know anything sweeter,

but it weighs too much for a thin mouth

and pretty teeth,

it will cause rips in your cheek

and cracks in your jaws.

you will never speak again.

it's sweetness will find it's way

down your throat,

and when it reaches your heart,

pulling in the ribs with nauseating cracks,

it will poison you, slowly,

it will thicken your blood,

dry your skin to parchment,

and burn your bones into coal.

But is it just one name? Or is it all of them? Is it any of them? This is a very dark write, but I smell the burning embers of sage advice as well.
