Frustration

Frustration

A Poem by MiracleMoon
"

Something written when I needed to let off a little steam.

"

I’m allowed to be bitter.

I’m allowed to let these ill-disposed poisons to

Swell into the cells of my blood

And procreate within the rivers of my life,

Enabling for their ugliness to find its course throughout my body,

And contaminate me with feelings of sheer disgust and dread.

I’m allowed to be angry

As long as I accept the consequences

That befall from my unrelenting pessimism,

And swallow away the venom's that seize me in

A desolate frenzy void of understanding "

Hoping that maybe one day,

In a future whose light is not artificial or man-made,

These problems that cripple me with self-doubt and resentment,

Will no longer harm me.
