Death of a Flame

Death of a Flame

A Story by Mirabella

There was once a group of six dancers, known as The Flames. They have been together for 5 years and were therefore inseparable.
They were on their way to a performance when they had a dreadful accident. The damage was severe and, in their lead dancer’s case, fatal. The Flames were devastated. In honour of her life, they declared that they will never dance again.
One day, the group received a letter pleading them to perform again. “Your lead dancer may be extinguished,” it concluded,”But her spirit lives on in your dancing.”
