Like the beautiful blend of English lavender and Jasmine,
And it mingled with my tastebuds, Making my mouth water, And how it reminded me of a million memories in the blink of an eye, The highness of serenity in your fragrance, Reminded me of being at sea for the first time, The touch of your fragrance, Reminded me of walking barefoot on that lofty blue carpet, The softness of your fragrance, Reminded me of all my soft slumbers, In the blink of an eye, And, I was sitting on the foot end of our bed, At night, In the moonlight, And I fell back lightly on our bed, Painfully, grabbing the white shirt with fine collars, lying there, And realised it was not the air but this shirt that still had this rich fragrance of yours, Like the beautiful blend of English lavender and Jasmine, You had not passed by but had quietly passed away..
That was stunning Mirab, literally so, i was so taken in by the story unfolding about the fragrance of your love passing by and the emotions and pictures it evoked that the very final words almost passed me by lost as i was in the mesmerising beauty of the work, then it hit me that your love has passed away and suddenly everything became sad, however its a fantastic end and so neatly concealed till the very last second, brilliant writing Mirab, just great :)
