Put On A FaceA Poem by BeeJust a passing thought.
A smile seems to be the only acceptable expression
So every day I make sure I do But my smile is hollow one Just a front to hide what I'm really feeling inside Every day I put on that face But I still find myself in that place Because inside I've got so much to hide I want to cry and let it out, but it's within society I reside When you're feeling down Just put on a face, never frown Keep your emotions to yourself Make sure you never let your pain show Put on a face Everyone does Because we're not allowed to let anyone know How we feel inside, so we always need to hide Put on a face, be the norm Put on a face, make sure you conform Put on a face, don't let them see Put on a face, never be all you can be © 2014 BeeAuthor's Note
