LonelinessA Poem by Mip/John K. BrierleyJust how I feel about it at the moment.
Loneliness creates paranoia
When it states that your friend missed a text It wrecks your sanity It says they're ignoring you But you know that can't be true Right? But part of you says you annoyed them somehow The other half tells you that they wouldn't do that It's absurd the idea But when you've been lonely for so long the idea of someone being a true friend can become absurd It's a depressing reality loneliness can put you in You overanalyze and believe what you did was somehow wrong That joke was sleazy levels of awful Having faith is hard They aren't fake right The truths in sight but your paranoia makes it look like a fun house mirror It stirs your fears in and turns them into the reality Sometimes it's hard to remember that your friends are there That them ignoring you is far-fetched They're busy and they forget to text back Don't give them flack you do it too But then you remember sometimes this does happen And that means sometimes they weren't your friend © 2016 Mip/John K.
