Embracing pain

Its dark foggy rainy and painful,
its embracing me with all its strength
deeper; I can’t seem to fall
I reached the bottom and underneath

am I dead or alive?
Or am I somewhere in between?
that day will arrive
when I’m nowhere to be seen

broken promises are holding me down
sweet dreams to deceive me
dragged by a guilty crown
but you don’t care obviously

my eyes are frozen
cold drops that won’t stop
living in this illusion
sweet dreams full of crap

its dark foggy rainy and painful
that’s my only sky
striking knives into my soul
hurtful rain that wont dry

I’m no more to run
I’ll endure the pain
these dark clouds are my new sun
more sorrow I’ll aim to gain
 
this world I am to explore
I won’t be needing your face
maybe I could find hope
even in this kind of a dark place
