Silver Book, Golden PenA Poem by MinnowOkay this is kinda weird but I've been reading books about and ancient civilization, Edil-Amarandh and they have so many poems and songs that it inspired me to write some poem that is really long.
Through the glades of Eran-Nal
Past the Crags of Ren You carry with you a Silver Book wrought with a Golden Pen. Lived a life of Living Death In the House Prison of Janaluke Working endless days. With no Past and with no Future You lived a life of woe But then came the silent Beauty. With hair of golden light and eyes of molten lava Skin as smooth as silk and lovely as the dawn She heard your plea for help and took you from the House Prison of Janaluke. She named herself Lenala Enchantress of the Marshes And gave you the Silver Book wrought with a Golden pen. "You must take this to the Forest of the Wise." Said Lenala. "It holds your past and holds your future." She took you on a journey With perils around every corner To go to the Forest of the Wise. Through the Glades of Eran-Nal Past the Crags of Ren Stood the Forest of the Wise. With Dragons and Ogres and Dark Sprites Snapping at your heels You and the Enchantress Lenala fought to the Forest of the Wise. When at last you emerged Past the Crags of Ren Holding the Silver Book wrought with a Golden Pen You stood before the Forest of the Wise. The Enchantress had been dealt a fatal wound Lay down before the trees And there died Lenala, Enchantress of the Marshes. You greived for three days Then walked into the trees And there learned the Secret of the Silver Book wrought with a Golden Pen. © 2010 MinnowAuthor's Note
