This is a really cool piece of writing. It's been a long time since I have felt like this, but you've brought it all back - the excitement, the anxiety, the butterflies, the insomnia... the racing pulse.

What I like the most, over the vivid description and the sensation as you read, is the way the tempo seems to pick up towards the end, as if you are really there feeling the emotions as you see the subject of your affection.
