night catalyst

night catalyst

A Poem by Shaun Rudie

catalyst

bearing forward

pressing

choice-maker

in a raiment of

light, thin strand

tree fingers rise

upward shedding color leaves

of winter

amid fog of memory

and the circle of dark

surrounding

cold has shed it's skin

and life warms
