hello world...

hello world...

A Poem by Shaun Rudie

welcome to the

world

puffy colors gather

on the horizon, a

sunset of

concentrated orange,

juice for the eyes

over me, a healthy

weeping,

rain for flowers,

sets beauty in

motion

like a play bite to

your skin, engaging us

in a ring of touch,

stirring earth

my dark apple

there, overslept

a growth of

beard in flannel

jammies

and you dream

in stillness,

safe in your

cold stone

blue world-marble

dials, clicks new

tears, clears

emotion

i am a child

beat my drum

too hard

and bent the

world
