I'm there

I'm there

A Poem by Shaun Rudie

I ease into your hurried life

behind you

cradle you with whispers

at night

an effortless drawing of me,

my sighing support

I am a backbone for your

expression, a path through

your doubt

your tears, the salt of experience,

your unique flavor, I add to

my own

at the peak of inspiration it is

my hand holding yours,

my face against yours,

my eyes open

to you

This is just lovely, and I'm happy to have stumbled across it. A most enjoyable read of love and honesty.

this is exquisite.. it trembles with such beautiful openness.

i think this is what love really is.
