Earth out

Earth out

A Poem by Shaun Rudie

fall, an

earth-out

expression

spent leaves and

birds departing

in long, dark braille-form

across a grey sky

the sun, white-yellow and

cold

children feeling

spunky, energetic, as

warm thoughts leave them

wrapped in coats

lights on houses glow

opposite of night
