Shadows of Dogs on the Wind

Shadows of Dogs on the Wind

A Poem by Shaun Rudie

in Here

creativity, a yoga’s

stretch

concrete images from

suppleness, like clay pressed into a

mold, fired rigid with heat

and time

it evades, at least a sword

into the body would bear image

fruit, short lived surly

as creativity is

humble rain pouring from an

obstinate sky

sleep is a dream

 waking,

a time

mountains, a tour guide

shelter, a tree

desire, a person

a pool; but a reflection and

pain is a small, darting fish

that lies still in

 winter
