At it again

my time-mind wants
precedence
scooping up expressive
parts of me, holding them
too tightly
some break,
smoosh together,
crush out of
existence
what's left is bereft of 
things that make time
a me-statement

frustrating...I think
"to kill time" is not
just a statement
