she

a sunlit

mirror

her curved words held

in parenthesis

(a pen containing her

beast) protecting her, me

her hands shake as

she touches me and

I flare to life

What more intense than "a sunlit mirror"? and I linger with that image as I continue to read through this piece. "Her curved words" so sensual, yet you make them dangerous "(...her/beast) and even more intensely dangerous because you have actually placed this intensity (safely) in parantheses. And yes, I think I hear you, the waiting...and at the last, I read it this way: Her passion, through pen only, not yet unleashed except in words....
But then again, that last image ---
