A Poem by Shaun Rudie

a core supremely

flexible, driven

driving

old

and in a youth's body

she is not aware of it

simply draws on it

at will

she is afire

resting as easily in a

corporate tower overseeing

thousands,

as  walking through a

field of clover

where the only demands

are to bring air in your

lungs as you walk,

perhaps bat away an

errant fly

she has walked

this earth before

powerfully
