Her

Her

A Poem by Feelgood

Unwrapped I wait

A present of negate.

Undressed I wonder

Through this thoughtless slumber,

What will come of date.

I pound away

At this gate.

Only to find

The lock...

Unscathed.

Her auburn hair

Flows through autumn trees,

Her crystal eyes

Crash through waveless seas.

Unfounded lies

never see

These beautiful lips-

Expressive of glee.

An intuitive glance

pierces right through me.

A helpful reach out

Towards my soul to be.

She makes me accept

The truth of life.

Pain doesn't matter

through this life of strife.

With a caressness of soul,

I lose control.

My heart-

It aches,

For her gorgeous sound.

It plays a song:

A composer of life profound.

Undoubtedly hearing

Of a life conceiving

Only love.

A daunting presence.

Not even looking,

She swims right through

Every breaking heart of you.

The grip of your heart

Seeks her out,

Uniquely displayed

Like a priceless art.

Miss Lisa's eyes could not see

How much she loves me.

Da Vinci's brush

Could never follow.

Tears cry

Only so shallow.

Even the blind,

Can live in shadow.

Her life of deep

Clears my life of weep.

My gental tears,

Quench her sorrow.

This angel,

Lives for tomorrow.

I try to grab on

To her fleeting coat tail.

But her passion leaves

Only a trail.

A trail I will follow!

A trail I will be!

God d****t...

I am still looking for thee...

I know that out there

Through sickness and wear,

There is a woman

So fine and fair.

My search is relentless-

Temptations repentless.

In this dream

I see her face.

In her cloud-

There is no disgrace.

So let me find her...

Let me lay her down...

Uproot my love

Right out of this ground.

I am screeming to believe!

I am paining to see.

All I want is:

Someone worth this love I have,

Someone worth this love I feel.

Someone to finally

Make this love real.
