I Will Wait

I Will Wait

A Poem by Feelgood

I will wait

For that gorgeous day,

When fate finally brings

You my way.

The wait may be long-

And full of pain...

But,

I will wait

Anyway.

My Angel,

My Baby...

I know you're young,

But you're unlike anyone.

A lifetime is nothing

When our future ahead-

would be so engrossed...so enlightened...

Unknown to dread.

Your radiant beauty,

Your devine passion,

Has made in me

An unstoppable reaction.

The future I

So plainly see:

Hand in hand...

You 'n' me.

Could it possibly be

Done so easily?

Coule fate've finally

Turned the key?

Don't be surprised if I cry

The first time I lay you to bed.

It's only because

You're in my head.

You've been feelin' me..

I've known.

Like nothing...

You've ever been shown.

You didn't think

This could ever be.

Just hold your breath,

Count to three...

This life will blow by.

Let it out,

1...2...3...

You and Me.

I liked this but it seemed to meander somewhat and get a little lost. At one point I thought it was a case of unrequited love and another it sounded it was about your child.
