Nobody knows

Makes no sense why we're here
We get so close
Then people just disappear
Why does this happen?
Where do they go?
So much confusion
Nobody will ever know.

When you just get on top of things
When you are happy and content
It all gets ripped from under your feet
We try so hard to get it back together
But everything is lost and incomplete.

People know no better
They are so cruel
There's no love, no heart
Why is all this happening?
The world is falling apart.

Families, loved ones and friends lost
People's feelings left unsaid
So many broken hearts
Too many tears have shed.

Maybe in the after life
We will all reunite
All those broken hearts healed
Because we followed the light.
