I want to feel like i belong
When times a tough
And im not feeling strong,
I look like ive had enough.

Show me that you care

When im sad and upset
You get angry and frustrated, it makes me
feel all alone.
I look at you to hold me tight,
to tell me everything is going to be alright.
But there you are on your phone
Which makes me feel miserable,
The world to me scary, unknown.

So when you see me next time
Sitting there on my own,
Upset and all alone
Its just sometimes, it gets all too much
Thats when i need you,
Your feelings, your thoughts or even
your touch.

To be held by you is more than enough.
Just for that little bit,
Makes me forget all that other stuff.
