  Animal Detectives

  ''Hmm.. not bad for a Far East island nation.'', Selena says.
  ''I wonder.'', says Olivier.
  ''You don't like it?'', Selena replies.
  ''Yeah, it's too normal'', Olivier says sounding monotone.
  ''I don't care. I'm going to change it to my liking anyways.'' ''Olivier, I'm leaving.'', Selena says.
  ''It kinda--'' Selena jumped off the ship. ''That girl is so impatient.'', Olivier sighed. Olivier holds a picture and looks at it with a saddening face.

  ''Hey, Chloe!'', Olivia ran. ''Hey, wait up!''
  Chloe stopped and looked at her. ''Did you find what you forgot?''
  ''Yup! I found it, it's in my backpack. See?'', Olivia holds up her textbook for Chloe to see.
  ''Oh no. You have to take better care of your textbook.''
  ''It's alright, Chloe. It's not like it's dirty or anything.''
  ''But--''
  Suddenly, Ken interrupts them. ''Out of my way, out of my way!'', says Ken riding on his skateboard along with Aiden.
  ''Stop!'' Olivia shouts. ''That's dangerous!''
  ''Shut up. It's your fault for walking so slowly like that, alright?'', Ken throws the ball to Olivia. Olivia catches it.
  ''Ah! Jeez.. can you stop playing dirty just because you can play around?''
  Ken smirks. ''We weren't playing dirty, we were just going too fast. Right, Aiden?''
  ''What? Uh.. yeah.''
  ''Fast huh? Yeah, right.'', Olivia stares at Ken.
  ''You two, stop it.'', Chloe says.
  ''She's right, Ken. It was our fault anyways.'', Aiden replies.
  ''Why don't we play basketball? It's a one-on-one match.'', Olivia says twirling the ball.
  ''Okay, one match. I'll be waiting at Central Park!'', says Ken. ''Let's go tomorrow.''
  ''H-huh? Wait up, Ken!'', Aiden says.
 
  Meanwhile, on the other end Natalie and Misty are doing archery.
  ''Natalie, don't hit my target.'', Misty says a little irritated.
  Both of them sigh.
  ''Oh, it's Mr. Waterflea. Sorry.'', Misty says.
  ''I need your help, guys.''
  ''Is something the matter, father?'', Natalie says.
  ''I just got a call from your mother. She said you girls should come back early
because she has to go out on a business trip. I may not make it to dinner so I..''
  ''It's okay, dad. I'll tell mom but come back before dinner.''
  ''Right, right.''

This is kind of weird in my opinion. I don't know what's going on as there are no descriptions and I can't get a feel for the characters. I'm sure it makes sense to you but as the reader it just doesn't. Maybe this type of writing works for some people but just not for me.
