We dare not speak in other than riddles In this lovers world where no one is safe And every word has several Meanings and way too many eaves droppers. Is this not the work of thy hand, Maiden? If not, prey tell us please what other part Of thy body would lead an orchestra In such a malady of melodies Of whispers and lies? And in such disguise? But, we know thy hand well for it’s in too Many pots; and doesn’t each of those pots Call the kettles Black when their names are Kindred and Ken? Oh, you’re not invited. And what a tangled web you have woven With so many of your spiders to share. A Rebel without a cause; just a plan. La Belle de Madison sings like Robin On the Greene. Sing thy lonely song to the Gray Fox and Princess Red and Annie in The Maze looking for Gemma through the Blayze. Remove thy mask Tallulah and forget Thy Rose and thy Lilly on thy Voyage, We know you by your web of woe and lies. No doubt you know us by the love we share, And we dare not speak without the riddles In this lovers world where no one is safe And every word has several Meanings and way too many eaves droppers.
