Along the Spanish ShoreA Poem by Millionth MuseAlong the Spanish shore, where breeze and ocean dance the Flamenco in a glittering mix of moonlight and azure shine, she held his hand as if he owned the world Two were one beneath the trembling sky, fingers intertwined, a latticework of flesh and unanswered questions, ushered on by string filled melodies whispering of secrets and serenades a boy, salt-stained skin and caramel eyes a girl, awkward limbs and pouty lips children playing dress-up in clothes the color of the sun and the sea, learning that love is the dance of gypsies, all rhythmic movements , thrusting hips delicate arms, closeness unavoidable beneath a Hunter’s Moon, one tender kiss, impulsive and fevered , with nothing but eternity on their minds, youth celebrates in the fanning of skirts, the stomping of feet and the power of the tocaores.
