A Love, ForbiddenA Poem by Victoria Chang
A love story unfolds in this lovely pasture A couple embracing in such poignant rapture
They met here in this beautiful place now a lonely meadow without a smiling face
Like a rose It's thorns do prick It's like their love said parents, sick
Oh how will this love last? A forbidden one to say the least Will they smile again Facing the sunrise, east?
But I guess this love must end Heartbreak and sorrow are scattered The young couple didnt really care Their love was the only thing that mattered
Now they lay, Hand in hand In this very meadow In this very land
