The box with a red ribbon

The box with a red ribbon

A Poem by Alice
"

tick tock a gift given by fate

"
Fate is what you bring with you when you are born,so they say but who really knows.thrust apon me ,shoved in my face,a box with a red bow, whats in it ,I only know, unwrap the ribbon ,its such a small box,as the sky grows dark and I hear the tick tock of a clock, slowly I open it and look inside, with shock and horror I am sucked inside, its so dark and cold in my box thats my fate, I stand alone in the deepest dark recesses of my heart,I knew that I would always be alone ,and nobody would ever want me to love me, after what fate has handed me ,alone I will stand ,alone I will be,tick tock tick tock  till the clock is unwound, and my heart slows down, you cant escape fate even if its in a box, with a red ribbon on it and you hear a tick tock of afar away clock, fate, clock tick tock, fate, clock, tick ,t o c k , t   i  c k ,  t    o    c   k ,  t     i     c     k  ,  t      o      c      k ,the clock has finally stopped. The box with the red ribbon on it lies on the ground open and I am no longer around, for fate has dealt me my final hand........

I took a look at this, and thought 'isn't this more of a story layout then a poem?' Even after reading it, it sound much more like a story then a poem. Although, if you wan to make it a poem, all you need to do is change the layout.
Apart from that, this is good. I like the idea behind it, that you can't run from fate and we can't change it. Well done, I enjoyed it.
