My letter to you.

When you can't say what you really feel out loud.That's where paper and pen comes along.

Dear ex,
You seem to somehow make your way back into my life once more.
Even now as I write I wish you'd leave.
Looking back at time that's passed.
It was you who was to late.
You want me back.
But I don't want you back.
Half of me hurts and longs to be in your arms.
But my heart pulls away from you.
Knowing your only bad news.
This is my letter to you I never got to send.
Never got to say.
Never got to write.
We've both changed since that last time.
And now I've moved on.
You should do the same.
But as the days pass.
I still feel guilty even though it's not my fault.
That I did nothing.
So here's my letter to you.
The only letter I could possibly come up with.
I'm forgetting you now.
I'll walk on a new path away from you and the memories of our past together.
I'll walk the new path with my new love.
Someone who never makes me feel guilty.
So here's my letter.
The words I could never speak.
I'm forgetting you now...

I can really relate to your feelings here, especially feeling guilty for things that aren't your fault. I like how you signed it "your past". It shows that you're ready to move forward, you just needed to unload your heart in order to heal.

I can relate to this. When someone you care for has hurt you and then wants you back, you just want to fall back into their arms though you know your shouldn't. I made the stupid mistake of giving in. The is very good.
