A moth caught in flamesA Poem by Milinda_MoonWhen you've moved on from ur ex to someone else you love so dearly...What do you do when that old ex comes back into the picture who still has feelings for you...You say you need.
You say you love. You say you never stopped loving. I'm trapped in the middle. A moth caught in two flames of fire. A moth that can't seem to break free from the burning. Suffocating in the warmth of two people. Feeling like I have to pick. My heart belongs to one person. You had your chance but you blew that when you left. I have someone now...Who loves me for me. And I refuse to let him go because you still want me. I wish nothing more then to go and cry forgetting you ever existed in my life. You cause so much pain. Yet you warm my heart with your smile. Your daring smile to wrap me in your arms for a hug. Even though I look away and pray to God you'll vanish before my eyes. Never to be seen or heard from again. I look and your still there. My life was all right before you came back. You hurt me by making me wait for so long. And now time for us is over. I have my love who I'd kill myself for before I let him go. And you can't have me! I'm just a suffocating moth caught between two flames of fire. That doesn't seem to be fading away anytime soon. © 2009 Milinda_MoonAuthor's Note
