Heart

My heart belongs to one person only...

You hold my heart within your hands.

And never shall you let go.

You took my heart without me ever knowing.

And you've had it ever since.

You had me at "hello"

and you'll have me forever.

I was so blind to push you away.

And yet you never gave up.

Waiting for you to call it over you never did.

I'm now seeing why you hold my heart.

It's because you really do love me.

Yet my mind still questions it's own thoughts.

I push them aside and tell them enough.

Time is still flying and my heart is sinking deeper everytime I look at the clock.

Yet you tell me not to worry.

Oh golly don't I worry a lot.

You hold my heart within your hands and your not letting go.

Though sometimes I may fuss,

And I might even pout.

Afraid you'd let go.

Never you did.

You hold my he art within your hands.

And it knows it's safe.
