The Fish And The Flea

The Fish And The Flea

A Poem by Miles Evens
"

corky

"

you're lips they move like poetry
said the fish to the flea
the flea she said "you're fins are fine
will you be my valentine?"
Then one day they fell in love
with some luck from up above
then the fish he got a plan
asked the flea to take his hand
she replied "of course heck yes"
and since then they've been in love no less
but the word round town was always bad
Everything was always mad
that a fish could love a flea
and they could live so happily
none the less they didin't care
about the town folks stareing glare
so they dove into the deep blue sea
were they could live so happily
They Went to town with out a care
they shared their love without despair

I like this happy poem. It feels like a song though. Do you write songs?

I didn't think that this poem was cute, I thought it was beautiful.
Your words paint a lovely picture in my head. It's surreal and I love everything about it.
Great job! I loved this, and I can't wait to read more of your work.

Cute, but wouldn't that be hazardous for the flea to live down in the sea? Like it though. :)
