Underground

Underground

A Poem by Milena Grubor

My body is heavy and cold,

Locked behind those silver doors,

Everybody left,I'm all alone,

Scared  i might never find my way back home,

The cellar is cold and dark,

There is no way for light to shine,

I keep spending my days underground,

Alone, even with a million people around

A life can be cruel when you were born to loose,

But there is no other way you can choose,

Even if there ever was , you were way too confused,

Confused by the lies they gave you, betrayed by the ones who loved you

Working like a slave each day,

But yet not good enough for them,

It's easier to pretend than to really change,

even hell gets comofortable when you spend there every day
