A heart in the hands of grace

A heart in the hands of grace

A Poem by Milena Grubor

Deep in the darkest of the night

with nowhere to hide under empdy skies,

I lead the path that should take me to the light,

Although it still fades away in my eyes,

One million shades of my broken heart,

Half dying,half alive

If I only could go back to the start

I would never loose it out of my sight

Softly touching my pale face,

wind keeps giving me embrace,

Like a last chapter of a nameless tale,

My life falls into hands of shameless grace

No matter how pure my spirit seems to be,

or for how long I couldn't see,

That all along it wasnt you,but me

and that I'll have to set you free

A soft childish smile in the dark,

as memories bury me alive

I wonder for how long will I have to hide a heart,

who's love is innocent.
