Beautiful Poison

Beautiful Poison

A Poem by Nur Syamilah
"

She's beautiful and most look at her in awe and envy. However, many fear her and cower from her gaze. After all, she may be the most powerful being that walked the Earth.

"
Locks of snow fell around her face,
Fragments of magic flowed from her fingers,
Her tongue rolled with Ancient words,
As her power grew bigger and bigger.

Her eyes glowed like precious jewels,
They were bright and filled with life,
Her gaze could freeze a man's heart,
It could be as sharp as a knife.

Her beauty was like no other,
Her skin pale but flawless,
She spoke with grace and royalty,
And has the appearance of a Goddess.

But people cowered under her presence,
Because of what she could do,
But how can a woman so beautiful,
Be so poisonous too?

But it was not her choice to be chosen,
To control the balance of the world,
She was not yet a full grown adult,
She was just a young, innocent girl.
