A Prayer Into a Sinner

It only takes enough doses of insanity to turn a normal human being into a notorious killer.

His gaze fell upon the scene before him,

At the mess he has made,

His eyes glazed and hopeless,

As his sanity starts to fade.

His hands trembled uncontrollably,

And something fell from his hands,

He looked down towards the sound,

And he finally came to understand.

A shaky hand covered his mouth,

As he stumbled back on his feet,

A gasp of disbelief left his lips,

As he silently prayed the woman was just asleep.

Oh, but he knew that wasn't the case,

Since people don't bleed in their slumber,

And since the 'incident' that very night,

He was known as the notorious, "Jack the Ripper".
