Naruto sighed. Today for some reason he felt more alone than usual. Maybe it was because he had seen lots of couples out today doing thing that couples do. Or maybe it was because he had seen families out doing their thing. He didn't really know. All he knew was that he a huge gaping hole in his chest that he wished could be filled. Filled by someone who would tell him 'I love you.' and 'I'll never leave you ever.' or even 'You are my only reason for living.' Yeah that would be nice. He smiled sadly. 'But who would love someone like me? I'm just a monster to the village.' He thought. He was afraid. Afraid that someone would start going out with him then a villager telling him/her his deepest secret, the Kyuubi and that they would leave him while calling him a monster. He sighed once more and stood up, dusting off his pants and heading for home.

Unbeknownst to Naruto there was someone who knew about the Kyuubi and still loved him and not thought that he was a monster. Who was that person pray tell? Sasuke. Sasuke Uchiha. He had been watching Naruto for the past hour ever since he got back from his month long mission. He thought Naruto looked absolutely gorgeous in the setting sun so he took a picture. He wished he was brave enough to tell Naruto of his feelings. He cursed himself for never being brave enough to strip himself of his cold mask that he adorned since the massacre. But there was a silver lining to these clouds. Naruto's birthday soon approaching and Sasuke had started to formulate a plan to confess to Naruto and make him his. "Soon my precious usuratonkachi you'll be mine." He said with a tender smile. "Soon."

Sakura pumped her fist in the air. "YES! I win. I told you Ino pig that he was gay! Now cough up the Ryo." Ino scowled and handed over the amount that she now owed Sakura for losing the bet. "Fine fine you win forehead. So now what do we do?" Ino asked her friend since childhood. Sakura grinned at Ino. "Isn't it obvious my dear Ino? We get them together of course. Now this isn't going to be easy with them not expressing their feelings to each other." She mused. "Uh Sakura shouldn't we involve Sasuke in this plot? He seemed to have an idea as to how he was going to confess to Naruto." Ino interjected mildly. Sakura looked at Ino and snapped her fingers. "Brilliant idea Ino! This will make it much easier if we include Sasuke. Come on lets go to the Uchiha compound." She stated. And with that, the two girls headed off in the direction of the compound.

Sasuke rose an eyebrow as he got up from the couch he was sitting on reading a book. A very good book mind you. Who could be knocking at his door this late? He opened the door and found Ino and Sakura with twin grin on their faces. He felt a shiver go down his spine. I do not have a good feeling about this. He thought. "Evening girls. What can I do for you." He greeted them. "Evening Sasuke. Could we come in? We have some important thing to discuss with you." Sasuke's eyebrow rose once more before he let them in with a sigh. He led them to the living room before going to the kitchen to put the kettle on the stove. When the tea was done he poured it into three cups and brought them into the living room. Once they were all seated and had their tea before them did Sakura speak.

"Sasuke", she began, "We know that you are in love with Naruto." At Sasuke's minuscule gasp and shocked expression she continued. "And we want to help. We want to help because Naruto deserves to have someone love him for who he is and not think of him as monster. And you deserve to have someone love you too. So do you have a plan about how you are going to woo him?" She smirked. Sasuke sighed. "There is no way I'm going to get you two to back off is there?" Both girls shook their heads. Sasuke sighed once more and began to tell them of his plan.

Naruto ate his ramen with bored look on his face. Sooo bored. He thought. He wished he had something to do. He sighed for perhaps the one hundredth time that day and went to bed praying that the next day would be better.

Naruto scowled. Today was his birthday and all he wanted to do was be left alone but no, stupid Ino and Sakura just had to decide to drag him to the festival. He really and I mean really wanted to kill those two right about now. He scratched his neck. His kimono and haori were made of an itchy material. "Sakura, Ino are we almost done? I really want to go home you know." He whined. That earned him a bop on the head courtesy of Sakura. "Be patient baka!" She scolded him. "We're almost done. We'll see the fireworks then we have a surprise for you." Naruto rose an eyebrow in curiosity. A surprise? For him? Maybe this day wouldn't be so bad after all.

Sakura smiled. The plan was progressing as planned. Soon Naruto and Sasuke would be together hopefully forever. She nodded to Ino to go to Sasuke and tell him to start getting things ready. She dragged Naruto to the ramen stand to wait until it was time to see the fireworks.

"Man those fireworks were awesome! I really enjoyed them. Thanks for taking me Sakura." Chirped a happy blonde. Sakura smiled as they walked towards the Uchiha compound. Naruto looked around and frowned. "Hey Sakura why are going towards the b******s house?" he asked. Sakura smiled and tied a blindfold around Naruto's eyes. "Huh? Why'd ya put a blind on me Sakura?" Asked the blonde. "Its time for your surprise Naruto. Now take my hand." She whispered. The blonde frowned and grasped her hand. She led him into the living room and sat him on the couch. She let go of his hand with a whispered "I'll be right back." and left the room. In the kitchen Sasuke and Ino were chatting. "He's all yours." Sakura grinned. Sasuke gulped as Sakura and Ino went out the back door. "Relax Sasuke." They both threw over their shoulders. Sasuke squared his shoulders and entered the room where Naruto sat.

Sasuke crept quietly trying not scare the blonde. "Sakura is that you?" Questioned the blonde. "No it isn't Naruto." Purred Sasuke in the blondes ear. He smirked, satisfied when he saw the blush up Naruto's neck. He leaned forward and licked up the tan column, savoring the taste that was purely Naruto. He heard low moans coming form the blonde. He ripped Naruto's haori away and threw it. It landed somewhere in the room but he didn't care at the moment. He undid the obi with fingers that to him couldn't move fast enough.
