Gone

Gone

A Poem by Regan Meade

Leaves fall, wind spins,
Sun rises, sun sets,
New colors, old news,
Chilly nights, chilly days,

Pumpkin pie, witch's spells,
A time for forgiving, A time for thanks,
The Earth begins to fall asleep.
This is how Autumn begins.

That is why I adore such a season
So many things happen in so little town.
BAM! Everything changes
In a blink of an eye so now the winter chills are here.

I really like this poem. Specifically, I love winter--it's my favorite season. This poem is really true. In real life, winter really does sneak up from behind and hit you that fast.
