Waiting Patiently

Waiting Patiently

A Poem by Regan Meade

Don't look at me like I'm nothing.
Don't say that you actually love me.
Don't touch me like a lover.

Leave my mind and body to me.
Leave me to move on.
Let go of all your false emotions.

See how you affected me?
See how broken I am?
See how hard it was to let go?

Walk away.
Walk out for a while.
Wake up to your frue emotions.

I'll be waiting for you, till you do.
