Kagome, Kagome (かごめかごめ)

Kagome, Kagome (かごめかごめ)

A Poem by Regan Meade

This was inspired somewhat by the children's game

Kagome Kagome

か"めか"め

A caged bird sings

         A little one cries,

         A caged bird swings

A little one sighs,

A caged bird sees

         A little one hides,

         A caged bird flees

A little one rides,

A caged bird flies

         A little one is hopeful,

         The caged bird is alone

The little one has withered,

Who stands behind you now?

I knew this one. A children game in Japan. I love the vocaloid song of it. Nice to know that someone decided to write a poem about it. I like the way you construct this one.
