Dear soulA Poem by MikkuA message for innocent souls
You break, but you mend yourself,
You fall, but you pull up yourself. The bullet of words meandering through heart, The shallow breath begins to depart. The lungs protest against the foreign air, But you DO know, life is never fair. Broken promises, shattered trust, Over the soul, insecurity forms a crust. You build a wall, oh so tall, Promise yourself to never again fall. Fall for fake faces, fall for false love, You promise yourself to rise above. But when he approaches you, a situation arises with which you never dealt, Crumbles the wall, and again your stupid heart did melt. When are you gonna understand it's just death's knell, Dear life, it'll burn you alive, sentencing you to hell. © 2018 MikkuReviews
