Nothingness

The warmth of your arm pressed against my cheek made me relax and my eyelids started to get heavier as the peace began to settle around my heart like an aura of serene glimmering snowy white. After numerous seconds of enduring that deadly turmoil of your absence, the touch of your arm was as welcoming as a breath of air to a drowning person.. Suddenly I became warm... Too warm... And my eyes sprung open.. It was then I realized that what felt like your arm was nothing but my quilt.. And again the weight of your absence shattered me into nothingness....

I think people will realize the warm arm pressed against your cheek is relaxing because it's making your eyelids heavy, therefore it isn't necessary to say it's relaxing. Maybe the greatest strength of your story is that you're describing an experience that is familiar and meaningful to so many people. I believe it would work better as a poem than as prose.
